If you weren't already in the know you'd have to open the quick start guide and read the first page which says "Download and install iTunes from www.apple.com/ipod/start" Cheeky sods. Actually the one thing I was dissapointed to not find in the package is a dock because I had mis-read the "whats in the box" description on their site, I was thinking "Dock Adapter" meant the dock itself. Or is it one of those oddly shaped thin things? I know that iTunes for Windows includes the iPod software as of v7 so I'm guessing Apple may make PC users go and download the software.
